How Pricing Works
Shed removal pricing is based on the size of the structure and whether demolition is required (it almost always is). A small 8x8 metal shed and a large 12x20 wood shed with a concrete pad are priced differently. All-in means all-in: the crew, the demo labor, the debris removal, and the cleanup are one price. Your crew confirms the number before they start. Concrete pad removal, if needed, is discussed separately — it requires different equipment and is not standard.
Do You Need a Permit?
In most Newton and MetroWest towns, removing a shed under a certain size doesn't require a permit. Generally, if a permit wasn't required to build it, one isn't required to take it down. When in doubt, we can advise — or you can confirm with your town's building department. Either way, we handle the physical work.

What if the shed is rotted or collapsed?
Rotted, collapsed, or otherwise deteriorated sheds are not a problem. In some ways, they're easier to break down. We load everything and haul it away regardless of condition.
Do you remove the concrete pad?
Concrete pad removal is not standard — it's a separate job with different equipment. If you need the pad removed too, let us know during the estimate and we can discuss options.
How much does shed removal cost?
Most standard wood or metal sheds run $200–$500 depending on size and condition. Larger structures or those with concrete pads may run higher. We give you an upfront price before we start.
Do I need to empty the shed before you arrive?
No — but it helps to know what's inside. If the shed contains hazardous materials (old paint cans, propane tanks, gas containers), let us know ahead of time. We can't haul hazardous waste, but we can advise on how to handle it before the removal day.
